Accessing Your Email

Using Outlook on the Web

You can access your email from any device with a web browser, without installing any software.

  1. Open your web browser and go to https://outlook.office.com/mail/
  2. If prompted, sign in using your email address and the password you set during the first-time login process.

Installing Outlook on Your Phone

For the best experience on your mobile phone, we recommend using the Microsoft Outlook app. This gives you access to your email, calendar, and contacts in one place.

Download and install the app from the appropriate link below:

  1. Android: Download from Google Play
  2. iPhone: Download from the App Store

Setting Up Email on Your Phone

First Time Setup

  1. Open the Outlook app on your phone.
  2. Tap Add Account.
  3. The app may automatically detect your email account. If so, tap Continue. Otherwise, tap Skip and enter your email address manually, followed by your password.
  4. When prompted, complete the multi-factor authentication step by approving the notification on your phone.

Adding Another Email Account

If you need to add a second account to the Outlook app (for example, a shared team address), follow these steps:

  1. In the Outlook app, tap the menu icon in the top-left corner of the screen. This may appear as a circle, a letter, or four horizontal lines.
  2. Tap the + icon.
  3. Tap Add an account.
  4. The app may detect your account automatically. If so, tap Continue. Otherwise, tap Skip and enter the email address and password manually.
  5. Complete the multi-factor authentication step when prompted.
